Auto hide past dates/options

It would be nice to have an option to auto hide/delete dates that already passed. Now I have to remove them manually.

I think the real solution here is to support recurring meeting rather than hiding past dates. Users seem to want one page where participants can visit to vote on the next meeting. I'll merge this with the existing issue.

I wouldn't make this connection so easily and consider it a decorrelated feature.

I think this problem also occurs when there are a lot of participants.

By the time everyone responds, it can sometimes take 1 or 2 weeks, making past dates irrelevant.

I see. It appears I have jumped the gun then. So the scenario is that there is one meeting (non-recurring) but there are date options that are in the past while voting is still happening. I'll make a separate feature request for that then.

I disagree. I am not trying to plan a recurring event in this case. I’ll lay out my use case:

I want to organize a dinner meeting with some colleagues. I don’t have a specific date, just some time this year, and getting maximum attendance is the priority.

HQ requires 4 weeks notice to approve budget for the event, so as dates approach, they need to become ineligible.

Without this feature, I need to revisit the poll weekly and disable options.

Thanks for sharing your use case. I misunderstood this initially but I see now that this is likely a good one to cater for. I've created a separate feature request for this here: Hide Past Dates

The option would be nice to have; for our purposes no must have though.

Ok to have as an option.

But sometimes it is also nice to see who have (not) been able to attend/contribute previous dates when making new schedules

Sometimes when planning a meeting, a notice period is required. The ability to set a future expiry date for options would also be helpful. eg: a date less than 21 days in the future is no longer eligible to be selected.

I would use this feature all of the time.
