If this is combined with the ability to also order them in some way, so I can have "yes", "yes but takes some effort", "if need be", "preferably not", and "no", and have rallly pick for me the date with the most "yes", otherwise the most "yes but with some effort", etc. That'd be great.
Where I use rallly, often there's not a single date with only "yes", so we always need to dive into the shades of "yellow" with all the maybes.

A definite 'yes please' for this as sometimes I want either a 'Yes' or a 'No' response and a 'maybe' or 'if I must' isn't appropriate. However I'm of two minds about how to deal with respondents who don't give a response for a particular time slot. Some might regard the current behaviour where not answering, switches a slot to a 'No'. It's certainly less work for the respondent if there a lot of slots they can't attend. As the poll author I think I'd prefer to leave the unanswered slots as an unanswered state so I know which respondents have screwed up. I appreciate others may prefer the current behaviour. Maybe make the default response for a slot (when they submit without changing that slot), configurable when setting up the poll so we can have the best of both worlds. Typically this option would be set as either the ? or the X.

It would be really useful if the default (ie no choice given) was not the same as No.
As I have to guess (based on past experience of each individual what they actually mean). I often end up sending an email to ask them

I've had a few different requests about the available options for voting. I think it may be worth exploring giving the ability for the poll creators to customize the kinds of votes participants can choose from.
This request was merged into another request
